Meet the people behind Horses First Racing Ltd.
Eamonn, is the Managing Director and founder of Horses First Racing. With a lifelong interest in racing Eamonn enjoyed a misspent youth at Windsor races and Slough dog track. He tore himself away to start his career in publishing. After moving to Silicon Valley to publish a computing magazine, he set up the world's first commercial internet service. On his return to the UK he founded leading interactive agency Online Magic, which he later sold to Agency.com, staying on as their European CEO. After contracting M.E. Eamonn explored a vast range of alternative therapies to aid his recovery. He was keen to bring together this interest with his racing involvement, bought The Beeches in 2004, and founded Horses First Racing.
Jeremy, 37, is the trainer at Horses First Racing. He came over from Australia where he enjoyed considerable success. For more information please see the trainer page.

Amy is a qualified riding instructor and joined the Horses First team in 2008. She owns Cap Classique, who used to be in training with us.
Raul is our apprentice jockey and currently claims 7 lb. He rode eight winners in his native Brazil and has already won two races from only a few rides in the UK, including his latest victory on Medicean Man at Ascot.
Happy Andy joined us in 2010 and does a lot of our travelling work. He worked for Toby Balding for years and has been involved in racing all of his life. When he is not at the races, Andy works on the yard.
Jeni has worked at the yard for about five years, taking a break in the middle to go off sailing around the world. She supervises all of our horses working on the treadmill each day and also treats our horses to massages and laser therapy.
Tracey is our Feed Manager. She is our longest serving member of staff, having been with the company since it first set up at the Beeches. Tracey is in charge of preparing and ordering all of our feed.
Greg starts off all of our youngsters on site, eductaing them tothe point where they are comfortable in and around other horses out on the gallops, when Jeremy takes over their training. Greg is a fantastic horseman and rider and used to train in his native New Zealand.
Phil has has previously ridden as an amateur jockey and is a very skilled work rider. He is also very good with tricky horses and has lots of patience with all of his rides.
Slim is originally from Germany and he worked with Assistant Trainer, Coops, at Lindsay Park in Australia. He joined the Horses First team in 2009 and tends to attract the tricky rides! He is a great one for saying things how they are and is a very competent horseman.
Becky previously worked for Jean Rene Auvray and came to work for Horses First Racing in 2010. She is a keen rider and her favourite ride is Anne Of Kiev.
Sam used to work for Guy Landau and broke a few of our horses in for us. She is very experienced riding youngsters and comes in to ride three or four lots out each morning.
Csaba has been working for us since early in 2010. He is an accomplished horseman and is excellent with the horses both on the ground and in the saddle.
Justina is a great light-weight rider and previously rode as an apprentice for Mark Usher.
Fruszi joined the yard in 2009. She is hard-working and can turn her hand to anything. She's been a great addition to the team.
Ann has joined us recently and has worked with horses for many years. Another string to her bow is that she can drive the tractor and so can help out Dean when needed.
Imogen Bovey has been with the company for six years and owns ex-racehorse, Silent Dream. Imy is in charge of the day-to-day running of the office.
Amelia is our Client Services Manager and is in charge of making sure our owners are happy and well looked after. She has been involved with horses all of her life, and racing becoming her passion when she started riding out aged 16. Having finished the BHA Graduate Programme in 2011 she joined us in October.
Kerrie is the long-suffering wife of Jeremy. She works in the office four days a week, ensuring that all the admin work is up to date, answering the phones and keeping everything running smoothly. She juggles this with looking after Darcie (9), Larnie (7) and Harrison (5) and of course Jeremy.
