Mrs Penny became our latest winner last week when she won on her second start for us, taking the 0-80 handicap at Wolverhampton on Friday night. The likeable Australian mare (pictured) quickened up impressively to lead inside the final 1f and stretch clear with her ears pricked to prevail by 2
The winners have continued to pour in this week with Street Power, El Diego and Nobelix all finding themselves in the winners enclosure. Our strike rate for January currently stands at 50% with Jeremy nestled towards the head of the hot trainers list. Street Power made a winning handicap debut at Kempton last Wednesday. John Hawkins, who bred the son of Street Cry and has several horses with us, has been a long term supporter of the yard and it was great for him to see the horse win (see picture).
Last week we sent out three runners and came home with two wins and a 4th. Ivory Silk (pictured) set the standard last Tuesday when she maintained her unbeaten record for us and turned in an impressive performance to win at Wolverhampton. Jeremy had taken his time with the filly following her win at Great Leighs in November and brought her into Tuesday
*News Update: We have had 2 winners from 3 runners since last Tuesday. Ivory Silk won in good style on Tuesday, beating a competitive-looking field over five furlongs at Wolverhampton. El Diego won for us at Southwell on Friday, taking the maiden at Southwell. Full reports next week*
