We are delighted to announce that, according to the Racing Post on Monday, we are the most in-form stable in the country. The last two weeks or so have seen us surge into a remarkable run of form, with Jeremy saddling four winners and four seconds from 16 runners, with all eight of the remaining horses running well in defeat. It is a very exciting time to be associated with the stable and we look likely to have many more excellent chances in the days and weeks to come.
Last week began with the promising Yvonne Evelyn (pictured) returning from a break to run in the 10f handicap at Windsor on Monday. The daughter of Cozzene was thought to be in need of a run prior to the race and on the day she was not suited by the sharpness of the track and was also outpaced in the closing stages, finishing sixth beaten 5
Our tremendous run of form continued at Haydock on Saturday evening, when we had a night to remember. Clare Lindop, the top lady-rider in Australia, who is currently with us on a six-week working holiday, was jocked up for us on Catalan Bay and One Way Or Another, who coincidentally are also Australian imports. Catalan Bay was making her return from a break in the 6f fillies handicap and ran an encouraging race. She travelled like the winner for much of the time until the lack of a recent outing took its toll in the closing stages, with her fading to finish a respectable second to Mango Music. Just 30 minutes later Clare donned the colours of Simon Rowlands to team up with One Way Or Another in the featured 1m handicap. With the leader setting off at an overly-strong early pace, Clare settled our charge beautifully at the back of the field and gradually crept into the race, hitting the front with a furlong to go. Despite wandering about in front slightly, the pair had enough in reserve to hold off the late challenge of Charlie Tipple by a head.
*One Way Or Another won the feature race at Haydock on Saturday night, providing a first win for his owner Simon Rowlands and a first UK victory for jockey Clare Lindop. Full update tomorrow*

This coming Saturday we are likely to have one of our biggest days of the turf season thus far with four possible runners pencilled in on the day. In the afternoon, we will be heading in the direction of Bath and are likely to send our Australian import Denton (pictured) there to make his first start in Europe. The son of Montjeu runs in the 10f handicap at 5.35 and we are hopeful that he will make a bold show. Also running at Bath is Piazza San Pietro, who is due to make his return from a break, during which he was gelded, in the extended 5f seller at 3.20. The son of Compton Place has been pleasing Jeremy with his work of late and if returning to his best, could be expected to take all the beating. Later that evening, our sights will be turned to Leicester, where we are planning to send Vamos to run in the 6f handicap for three-year-olds at 9.10 and Horseshoe Reef in the 10f handicap at 8.10. Both horses have been giving Jeremy the right signs in their fast work of late and the former in particular should give a very good account of himself.
As the sun continues to beat down on us at Horses First, we are all looking forward to Yanza running in the 6f fillies handicap at Lingfield on Thursday. She got no run whatsoever on her last start at Nottingham and a much-improved effort is likely to be forthcoming in this contest. After that, we could well be represented by Acrosstheuniverse (pictured) and/or One Way Or Another at Doncaster on Saturday. The former is a three-year-old by Forestry that Jeremy really likes and would be capable of running well in the 5f maiden. One Way Or Another is an Australian import that has been impressing in his work and could well show up prominently in the 7f handicap in the colours of Simon Rowlands.
We had three runners at Newbury last Saturday and while none of them could reach the frame, there was encouragement to take from the performances of our two runners in the 6f maiden,
