*Denton wins at Nottingham today, making it six winners from our last 13 runners*

Our remarkable run of form continued last week, with our six runners resulting in two winners and two placings. The winners were Flying Silks at Pontefract on Wednesday and Sutton Veny at Lingfield on Saturday and both successes were sweet for differing reasons.

Trevor and Carol Coffen have already gone through plenty of emotions during their short ownership stint with Flying Silks (pictured left). They had to wait patiently for six weeks before his penultimate start due to the ground being too firm and then they were denied the opportunity to see him run when he was strongly-fancied at Leicester due to the race being abandoned. However, the wait proved to be well worth it, as the son of Barathea delivered an impressive winning performance at Pontefract, showing admirable professionalism on his way to recording a 2
