Simon Rowlands' One Way Or Another (pictured) put in a huge effort at Doncaster on Sunday, finishing third in the six furlong handicap after being badly hampered. It was the Carnegie gelding's first outing of the season and if he hadn't been cracked across the nose by another jockey's whip in the closing stages of the race, the race could well have been his for the taking. As it was, he only finished third by a half length and a head. Having a break has clearly freshened One Way up well and he is now being aimed at the Victoria Cup on May 8th.
Tomorrow we have Chief Exec running at Kempton. The horse put in a good performance on his last start at Wolverhampton and we are hoping that he will carry on the stable's run of good form under Adam Kirby tomorrow.
Friday 26th March- A Win For Medicean Man
Despite running over a trip that was shorter than ideal, running on the all-weather for the first time, taking on a bend for the first time and having his first run after a break, Medicean Man proved himself too good for his rivals in the five furlong handicap at Wolverhampton tonight. The flying chestnut notched up another win for owners Stuart and Kate Dobb and is definitely a smart prospect for the coming turf season. He'll be back out at Ripon in a few weeks. It is great to have the horses in flying form! On Sunday we head up to Doncaster where Confuchias and One Way Or Another are set to run.
Friday 26th March- Rock With You Impresses
Rock With You ran very well last night, finishing third in a competitive-looking maiden at Kempton. The two horses that finished ahead of her were both strongly fancied and look to be nice types and indeed a few behind our filly don't look bad either. Despite the filly still being a little green, as she was entitled to be on only her second start, she ran an honest race and looks sure to give her owners, Duncan, Sandra, Wayne, Lance, Gordon and Tanya some fun days out. There are still shares left in the filly at just

Rock With You has been declared to run at Kempton on Thursday. The Rock Of Gibraltar filly (pictured left) ran 4th in her first start in a six furlong maiden at the course last time out. We feel that the step up to seven furlongs will suit her and Luke Morris retains the ride. We have a great group of people involved with the filly and we are hoping for her to progress further.
Ivory Silk ran her usual consistent race in The Hever Stakes on Saturday, just finding the pace a bit slick for her. The mare has come out of the race without a problem and we will look at the options for her next run.
Saturday 20th March- Ivory Silk Runs In Hever Stakes
Ivory Silk is lining up in the listed race at Lingfield this afternoon, where she look to have a very stiff task ahead of her. The strong field includes a number of well-established listed/Group race performers, however it looks like it will be run to suit the mare and we are hopeful that she will run above herself. Owners Richard Page and Stuart Dobb will be there to cheer their gutsy mare (pictured above) home.
Sulis Minerva and Anne of Kiev both finished 4th at Wolverhampton last night. Sulis Minerva was hampered quite badly in her debut and did well to finish as well as she did. Anne of Kiev didn't have the race run to suit and is better than the bare form suggests.
Friday 19th March- Two Runners at Wolverhampton
Tonight we head north to Wolverhampton with two runners. First up is Anne of Kiev who will be looking to follow up on her previous course and distance win at the track for us. The daughter of Oasis Dream runs in the five furlong handicap at 5.50 and we are hopeful of a good run from her. Lining up in the 6.20 is Sulis Minerva who is having her first race start. The Arakan filly is bred and owned by our Racing Manager, Kevin Blake, who will be at the races with Jeremy to cheer her on.

Thursday 18th March- A Double At Kempton
We had a night to remember last night when both of our runners emerged victorious from their races at Kempton. Dominium was having his first run for new owner Richard Page and put in an impressive performance to win the six furlong maiden under Luke Morris. It was only the E Dubai colt's second start and he was still obviously green throughout the race. He should come on again for the experience and looks as though he will get further too. New Leyf (pictured above) completed our double, taking the six furlong handicap under Steve Drowne in eye-catching style. This was his second course and distance win and there looks to be stoll more to come from the progressive son of Kheleyf.

Tuesday 16th March- Kempton Bound
We have two runners declared to run at Kempton on Wednesday evening. The first is the Richard Page-owned Dominium (pictured left), who finishing a promising second on his debut earlier this year. The athletic-looking E Dubai colt lines up in the median auction maiden over six furlongs and Luke Morris retains the ride. Also running at the meeting is New Leyf, who will be returning to the same course and distance that he won so impressively over on his penultimate start. Steve Drowne will be back in the saddle and we hope he can run another big race.

Saturday 13th March- Confuchias Runs Tonight
We have made Wolverhampton our second home this week and have picked up a second, courtesy of Golden Ratio, and a third, thanks to Chief Exec. Today we head back up the M5 with Stuart and Kate Dobb's Confuchias (pictured left) on board. The son of Cape Cross has found himself in a tough-looking handicap and has also managed to draw the outside stall, however he is in good form and enjoyed a quiet hack through the forest yesterday to freshen him up. We are trying him in blinkers and Luke Morris, who knows him well, is back in the saddle.

Thursday 11th March- Clocking Up The Miles
We have a busy day at the yard today. Jeremy is off to Kempton to have a look at the breeze up horses. Coops, just back from Australia, is heading to Southwell to saddle Tony Bloom's Thaliwarru. The horse runs in the seven furlong apprentice handicap under John Fahy and we expect a good run from him. Tonight we also send out Acrosstheuniverse (pictured left) and Chief Exec at Wolverhampton. You can read more about them in Jeremy's blog. Golden Ratio ran very well at Wolverhampton last night, coming second in just her second start.

Wednesday 10th March- Golden Ratio Runs Tonight
Golden Ratio is all set to run at Wolverhampton tomorrow night in the maiden over six furlongs. The three-year-old Noverre filly put in an encouraging performance on her debut, running on late to finish fifth at the same course. She is sure to come on for that experience and, although she will probably appreciate further in time, we are hopeful of another good run from her. Luke Morris takes the ride and the race is due off at 6pm.

Friday 5th March- Jesse James Runs Well
Jesse James (pictured left) ran fifth at Kempton on Wednesday night. He ran in the handicap over a mile and put up a satisfactory performance, considering he has had nearly six months off the track. The Racing Post commented that he "should be all the better for this debut for his new connections and is one to keep an eye on". Our next runners will be out next week, with Confuchias and Golden Ratio due to run at Wolverhampton on Wednesday night.

Monday 1st March- A Good Run From Rock With You
Rock With You put in a good performance on her debut yesterday, finishing fourth in a competitive maiden over six furlongs at Kempton. The Rock Of Gibraltar filly ran green, as we expected her to, but she ran on well at the end and will benefit from an extra furlong on her next start. We are syndicating the filly and you can get involved with her on a try-before-you-buy basis for just
