Anne of Kiev (pictured left) runs tonight at Windsor in the 6.40 handicap over 6 furlongs. She ran extremely well for us last time out at Wolverhampton, finishing a close 2nd to Mo Mhuirnin. This will be Anne Of Kiev's 3rd outing on the turf and so it will be interesting to see how she handles the ground. With her both looking and feeling very well we are hopeful for a big run.
Thursday 22nd April- A Huge Effort From New Leyf
Last night saw New Leyf produce a huge effort at Kempton, just being beaten a neck by the smart-looking Crown Choice. The two horses pulled over three lengths clear of the rest of the field and it looks to have been a great run, although there's nothing that Jeremy hates more than being narrowly beaten into 2nd. James Burdett's horse has come home without a problem and is enjoying an easy day on the Seawalker and in the paddock. He could be out again at Ascot on May 8th.
Today we send two runners and Assistant Trainer Coops up to Southwell. British Sea Power contests the maiden over seven furlongs for The Resurrection Partners. The horse ran green and as if a step up in trip would be of benefit on his debut at Ffos Las. We're not totally sure that the course will suit him but, providing he copes with it, he should come on from his last run. Confuchias races for Stuart and Kate Dobb in the claimer and we hope he will leave his poor last run behind him to put in the performance we feel he is capable of.
Tomorrow Flying Silks goes to Wolverhampton. Trevor and Carol Coffen's horse (pictured above) is in good form and we really wanted to run him on the turf but with him needing an ease in the ground, we were going to be waiting a while and he therefore takes his chance on the all-weather.

Thursday 22nd April- New Leyf Runs Tonight
New Leyf (pictured) has his first run for new owner Hong Kong-based James Burdett at Kempton tonight. The son of Kheleyf pairs up again with Steve Drowne (fresh from his win on Street Power last Friday) who has already won two races on him. The pair are bidding to add another win to that tally in the seven furlong handicap due off at 8.50. James' brother Edward will be there to cheer the horse home and he looks to have a good chance of christening the colours with a win.
Rock With You ran well yesterday for the Rock & Rollers. She found herself in a hot-looking maiden and just got caught for a turn of foot when they sprinted for the finish. She now qualifies for her mark and will be back out in a few weeks. Dominium also ran well, coming third under Luke Morris, despite concentrating more on the fillies than his racing. The E Dubai colt undoubtedly has ability and he will be gelded before his next run to help him figure out how to use it!

Wednesday 21st April- Kempton Bound
We head to Kempton tomorrow with two exciting runners. First up is Rock With You running for The Rock & Rollers for the first time. The Rock Of Gibraltar filly contests the one mile maiden due off at 2.50 and will be looking to improve again following her promising last run at the course. The majority of her owners will be there to cheer her on and quite a few of them will be joining us for lunch first. At 4.25 Dominium has his second run in a handicap for owner Richard Page. The E Dubai colt (pictured after winning his maiden at Kempton) will have come on from his handicap debut last time out. The race looks to have plenty of unexposed contenders in it but we are hoping for another good showing from the horse.

Saturday 17th April- A Winning Return For Street Power
Street Power (pictured) made a winning start to his season last night, taking the six furlong handicap at Kempton under Steve Drowne and making it five wins from six runs at the course. The horse is a firm favourite at the yard and has received some fan mail this morning from some of his many followers. Steve and Jeremy were delighted with the run, as were the horse's owners, Godfrey, Karen and Tanya, and he looks set to give us some fun days out this summer.
Jeremy is featured in The Sun today, on a big centre page spread. In the interview he picks out One Way Or Another as a horse to follow for the season. Some of One Way's owners, Mervyn and Sandy, called in to watch the horse gallop this morning and he went very well, impressing Gerg, his regular rider. There are still shares left in One Way ahead of his tilt at The Victoria Cup at Ascot on May 8th. You can take a 1/8 share in him for just

Able Master and Mrs Penny both ran today and neither disgraced themselves. Mrs Penny looked unsuited by the undulating track at Ripon and found herself in the slower group on the nearside rail. She ran on well at the end and will come on for the run. Able Master lined up in the Listed race over six furlongs at Newmarket, coming 7th but finishing off well. He will also improve for the outing.
Tomorrow we have Catalan Bay and Street Power (pictured above) both having their first runs of the season. The former has been very frustrating to train, as she has plenty of ability but tends to be too aggressive in her races. She tackles a seven furlong handicap at Thirsk, due off at 3.05. Street Power heads to Kempton at 8.30 where he will be partnered by Steve Drowne in the six furlong handicap. Some of his owners, Godfrey and Karen, will be there to cheer the powerful son of Street Cry home.
Wednesday 14th April- Medicean Man Runs At Beverley
Our sole representative today is the Stuart and Kate Dobb-owned Medicean Man in the 5f handicap at Beverley (3:10pm). Following his highly-impressive winning reappearance at Wolverhampton, we felt this was a suitable next step up the ladder for the son of Medicean. We harbour hopes of him being competitive in some of the season's biggest sprint handicaps, but he has limited experience in big, tightly-grouped fields. He will get his first real taste of that in today's contest and while we would have minor reservations about how he will handle the hustle and bustle of such a contest, we are confident that he has the raw ability to win the race granted a bit of luck in running that a horse always needs over 5f at Beverley. Jeremy has already walked the track and reports conditions to be suitable for our charge, so we are looking forward to an exciting 60 seconds or so.

Tuesday 13th April- A Busy Few Days
We have had a hectic few days, with our open morning going well and attracting over three hundred people on Sunday and four horses running yesterday. We were delighted with the response to the open morning and are delighted to welcome plenty of new owners to the yard. There will be a full report in this month's newsletter which you can sign up for on this page.
Yesterday we enjoyed several good runs. Sulis Minerva ran an excellent race to finish second at Folkestone on what was only her second ever outing. She was bought by Richard Page at the open morning and looks to be a very exciting prospect for him in the coming months. We also got two thirds at the course, courtesy of Simla Sunset and Edition. It was Simla's first race of the season and she ran very well, despite her wide draw and will definitely come on for it. Edition is a horse that Jeremy has always liked and he was convinced his poor first showing at Lingfield was down to him not handling the track. Yesterday's vastly improved performance is an indication that Jeremy's faith is justified and he should turn into a nice horse. Ivory Silk was our fourth runer yesterday but things didn't really pan out for her at Windsor and she came sixth. She will be back out in a few weeks.
Today we head up to Pontefract with Jesse James (pictured above) who runs in the one mile handicap at 3.20

Saturday 10th April- Thaliwarru Wins At Leicester
The yard's run of good form has continued this week with Thaliwarru winning at Leicester and Anne Of Kiev coming second at Wolverhampton on Thursday, just missing out on the top spot after being denied a clear run. Yesterday Golden Ratio came third back at Wolves. The daughter of Noverre has now picked up her handicap mark and will hopefully run on turf next time out.
Today we send Frank Lisewski's Winifred Jo (pictured above) to Lingfield for her first run of the season. She is contesting the six furlong maiden at 3.50 under Luke Morris. We also head back to Wolverhampton with Stuart Dobb's Chief Exec tonight before trying to get a good night's sleep before our open morning tomorrow.

The open morning starts at 10am and everyone is invited to come along, watch the horses work, meet Jeremy, Steve Drowne and Luke Morris, tour the facilitites and watch a horse parade.
Thursday 8th April- Thaliwarru Wins At Leicester
Thaliwarru became our latest winner, taking the seller at Leicester this afternoon for owner Tony Bloom. The Barathea gelding clearly relished the soft ground and was given a strong ride by Steve Drowne. Visitors to our open morning on Sunday will be able to see both Thaliwarru and Steve, as well as plenty of other horses working and in our horse parade. Luke Morris will be riding out alongside Steve. The morning starts at 10am and admission is free.
Wednesday 7th April- Ground Denies Flying Silks A Run
Flying Silks was all set to run at Nottingham this afternoon, but having inspected the track and spoken to a number of jockeys that had ridden in earlier races, Jeremy had a difficult decision to make regarding the horses participation. The worry was that the increasingly testing going would result in the horse having a very hard race on what was his seasonal reappearance, thus running the risk of bottoming him for the season. With the horse, our staff and Jeremy already at the track, the easy call would have been to take a chance and run him, but Jeremy made the right decision by the horse and pulled him out. He has a number of options in the coming weeks and we will keep you posted as to which we are favouring.
Tomorrow we have two runners declared, with Thaliwarru lining up in the 6f seller for three-year-olds at Leicester and Anne Of Kiev set to run in the 6f handicap at Wolverhampton. Thaliwarru should appreciate the prevailing going and run well, whilst Anne Of Kiev should appreciate the step up in trip and go close.

Tuesday 6th April- Two Debutants At Ffos Las
British Sea Power and Hedonist head over into Wales today to make their racing debuts at Ffos Las. British Sea Power (pictured left), by Barathea, will run in the colours of the Resurrection Partners and Hedonist is representing OTI Management. Both geldings will no doubt come on for the experience and it will be interesting to see how they handle their first races.
Tomorrow we take Flying Silks to Nottingham where he will be contesting the handicap over an extended mile for his owners, Trevor and Carol Coffen. It is the Barathea gelding's first run of the season and he is in great form at home so finger are crossed for a big run.

Just a reminder that our Open Monring is fast approaching. It starts at 10am on Sunday 11th April and we would love you to join us for it. Steve Drowne (pictured left, on New Leyf) and Luke Morris will be riding out and there will be the chance to tour the facilities and see the stable's equine stars close-up in a horse parade.
Friday 2nd April- Dominium Runs Tomorrow
Dominium has his first run in a handicap tomorrow at Kempton. The son of E Dubai was very impressive when taking a six furlong maiden at the course on his second start and we feel he will appreciate the step up to seven furlongs. The three-year-old colt will find tomorrow's race tougher but we feel he will come on again from his last run and hope for a big run from him for owner Richard Page.

Tuesday 30th March- A Huge Run From One Way Or Another
Simon Rowlands' One Way Or Another (pictured) put in a huge effort at Doncaster on Sunday, finishing third in the six furlong handicap after being badly hampered. It was the Carnegie gelding's first outing of the season and if he hadn't been cracked across the nose by another jockey's whip in the closing stages of the race, the race could well have been his for the taking. As it was, he only finished third by a half length and a head. Having a break has clearly freshened One Way up well and he is now being aimed at the Victoria Cup on May 8th.
Tomorrow we have Chief Exec running at Kempton. The horse put in a good performance on his last start at Wolverhampton and we are hoping that he will carry on the stable's run of good form under Adam Kirby tomorrow.

Friday 26th March- A Win For Medicean Man
Despite running over a trip that was shorter than ideal, running on the all-weather for the first time, taking on a bend for the first time and having his first run after a break, Medicean Man proved himself too good for his rivals in the five furlong handicap at Wolverhampton tonight. The flying chestnut notched up another win for owners Stuart and Kate Dobb and is definitely a smart prospect for the coming turf season. He'll be back out at Ripon in a few weeks. It is great to have the horses in flying form! On Sunday we head up to Doncaster where Confuchias and One Way Or Another are set to run.
