A Day To Savour On Friday

22nd September 2009

We have a day to look forward to next Friday with us likely to send a large team of horses out. Our first possible runner of the day is the progressive Medicean Man in the valuable 6f three-year-old handicap at Ascot. The Stuart & Kate Dobb-owned gelding (pictured below) has won three of his last five starts and looks to have plenty more to offer. While we are very keen to run the son of Medicean, the prevailing weather is not helping us out as the horse does not want the going too firm. Any rain would be much appreciated and Stuart has already started his raindance.

Later that day we have a multitude of potential runners at Wolverhampton. Our first interest will come in the 6f seller in which we could run both Theta Wave and Yanza. Both horses have won for us this year (Yanza is pictured, below, winning at Kempton), but have struggled slightly in recent starts and we feel that selling company will afford them their best opportunity to return to the winner
