Without question the highlight of our week was the win of the progressive Sutton Veny in the 6f 0-70 handicap at Kempton on Sunday. The penny has really dropped with the daughter of Acclamation in recent starts and this was her second win in succession (she is pictured, below, winning last month) and without doubt the most impressive of her three wins to date. Given another well-judged front-running ride by Adam Kirby, the four-year-old flew the stalls and showed excellent early speed to grab the lead from her very wide draw and controlled matters from there on.
