Today we head back up to Haydock with Golden Ratio, who contests the ten furlong handicap due off at 9.20. The daughter of Noverre should appreciate the step up in trip and Franny Norton is booked for the ride.
We had a frustrating day yesterday, with Flying Silks getting beaten in an incredibly close photo finish at Haydock. Trevor and Carol Coffen's horse ran a grave race and looks to be heading in the right direction again. Edition didn't seem to handle the rain-softened ground. Street Power ran a good third at Yarmouth and Adam Kirby reported that he wasn't entirely comfortable on the track. He has come home well and will be back out soon. Sulis Minerva was badly hampered at Kempton last night but ran a very good race to finish fifth. She will undoubtedly win races.
