Denton won in emphatic style at Haydock last night, proving he is better than ever. The lightly-raced son of Montjeu was given a lovely ride by Simon Pearce and we look forward to the rest of the season with him. He is currently for sale for £25,000 to stay in the yard. This evening we will be represented by the James Burdett-owned New Leyf at Newmarket (5:40pm). The son of Kheleyf (pictured) progressed notably on the all-weather earlier in the year and while his most recent runs look disappointing on paper, we since diagnosed and treated some issues with him that were holding him back. He seems in good form at home and while he can be expected to come on from the run, he looks well handicapped on the turf and it wouldn't be a big surprise if he were to run well.
