Medicean Man Has A Visitor

03rd August 2010

Barbieri ran encouragingly last night at Windsor. She showed promising early pace before getting a bump mid-race and weakening late on. Steve Drowne was pleased with the filly and thought she'd improve vastly for the experience. We have no runners today but we were visited by Barry Taylor, who bred Medicean Man. Barry (pictured) has visited the yard a few times to catch up with the laid-back chestnut and was particularly impressed with his Ascot win. It is always lovely to welcome breeders to the yard and we hope Medicean Man will be providing Barry, as well as his owner Stuart Dobb, with plenty more exciting days at the races.

Our next runners will be out on Friday, when Denton could well be out under a penalty at Newmarket. We also have Hill Tribe and Lord Cornwall on track to go to Haydock.
