  • we hope to see some improvement with him. FINE FINALE is our final runner of the day
  • we have an early start at Lingfield this morning with YOU GOT THE LOVE. She will be assisted by blinkers for the first time today as her attitude towards racing has not yet impressed. We hope she will show a little improvement on her fourth racecourse appearance. TOGA TIGER makes his debut for the yard at Lingfield after time off with an injury. I am still learning a bit about the horse and will be happy if he returns sound and well in the morning
  • she pulled up a little scratchy after the race and I will have a discussion with the owners with regard to her future.
  • she is well and home and we are hopeful that she will run well for her syndicate. However
  • as I would hope he can race through the winter. GONE TO GROUND goes to Wolverhampton and has also been fitted with blinkers
  • although I think he will be better at 3 I hope to see more than what he has showed us on the track so far. Last night BARBIERI failed to deliver what I know she can

YANZA put in another good run last night and should find herself in the winners stall before too long. SUTTON VENY will finally get to try her luck at Wolvs tomorrow night and i am looking forward to it. She has drawn badly again but she is well and ...

23rd October 2009

A frustrating day at Bath as DENTON pulled up making a noise and clearly choked down. I am very happy with the progress he has made this year and we will more than likely put him away for next year. One of my old favourites in CHIEF EXEC has a go at...

21st October 2009

No luck for RUNNING FLUSH yesterday as he looked to fall victim to a slow one falling back in his lap though i think a step up in trip is the way to go. He looked to be at it a long way out and back to the drawing board we go. DENTON gives us a chan...

Things didn't pan out well for IVORY SILK at Pontefract and a lack of early pace cost her dearly. We'll stick to the all weather with her now. FLYING SILKS will have to wait for another day after a boil developed on his jaw yesterday. RUNNING FLUSH...

18th October 2009

The last couple of days have seen a slight return to form with e good run of YANZA on Friday and the win of VAMOS last night at Wolvs. The step up in trip seemed to help Vamos and i think he was much happier on the surface there as opposed to Lingfie...

I was happy enough with the run of JACK GALVIN yesterday at Windsor. He will derive great benefit from the experience and first time on shifty ground would have been new to him. Our horses are rarely wound up completely for their first appearence so ...

Well what a terrific run from ONE WAY OR ANOTHER on Saturday. He was beautifully handled by Gary Carroll who rode the horse to the letter with regard to instructions and it very nearly came off. Twice i felt he came to win the race but the famous New...

Have to be very hopeful of returning to winning form tonight as DENTON returns to the track after a couple of very impressive runs a while back. Don't be alarmed at the time between drinks, there has been no problem. We have been waiting to get the g...
