  • we hope to see some improvement with him. FINE FINALE is our final runner of the day
  • we have an early start at Lingfield this morning with YOU GOT THE LOVE. She will be assisted by blinkers for the first time today as her attitude towards racing has not yet impressed. We hope she will show a little improvement on her fourth racecourse appearance. TOGA TIGER makes his debut for the yard at Lingfield after time off with an injury. I am still learning a bit about the horse and will be happy if he returns sound and well in the morning
  • she pulled up a little scratchy after the race and I will have a discussion with the owners with regard to her future.
  • she is well and home and we are hopeful that she will run well for her syndicate. However
  • as I would hope he can race through the winter. GONE TO GROUND goes to Wolverhampton and has also been fitted with blinkers
  • although I think he will be better at 3 I hope to see more than what he has showed us on the track so far. Last night BARBIERI failed to deliver what I know she can

27th November 2009

It will be an interesting night At Wolvs tonight and a couple of horses with what look like great chances. BERTIE BUCKLE tackles the 6:50 and i given his poor draw he will be ridden with a bit more restraint tonight to let him get home. He was ridde...

21st November 2009

I thought it was a gutsy effort by SIMLA SUNSET last night and i think she could go on and win a handicap now. It was great go win for the syndicate. As i warned, KING'S MIRACLE needed the run and will improve for the experience. Ass you could see sh...

20th November 2009

A world of extremes at the moment as the weather here is anything but pleasant at the moment. By contrast the temperature in Adelaide, my old home, hit 43 yesterday! I think it would be safe to say we won't be seeing anything like that at Wolvs toni...

17th November 2009

It was a little frustrating yesterday with both horses running well to finish second. IVORY SILKS flew home again after finding trouble early in the race and we will probably have a try at 6f now. She has such a wonderful turn of foot when she lets ...

16th November 2009

One might think i am more interested in sport than Racing but i can assure you that is not the case, my passion is spread equally. The fact is, these days i am far more suited to training than playing. However it was a good weekend all round. The Au...

It's a pretty quiet week with the weekend off before we go again Monday. More about them later. CHIEF EXEC and YANZA both put in good efforts Wednesday night at Kempton. A drop back to 5f for Yanza looks the best option as she travelled very well aga...

10th November 2009

I was very pleased to see SIMLA SUNSET run well yesterday at Wolvs. She was so disappointing at her first run i have to say i was a little nervous going into yesterday as her work had been quite good even before the first run. Just goes to show what ...

Definitely a rather mixed weekend! One Way Or Another was disappointing at Doncaster in the final race of the turf season however i am going to forgive him on ground i felt was far from ideal. Having walked the track prior to the event it was evident...

5th November 2009

A disappointing day yesterday as FLYING SILKS didn't appear to relish the heavy ground at Nottingham and RUNNING FLUSH failed to find the line from what was an awkward draw. I do question his intestinal fortitude though and the head gear will go on n...

3rd November 2009

The Sutton Veny Syndicate had something to cheer about Saturday night as she returned to form (as i had tipped you) and ran a cracking 2nd. She will come on again from the run and they can look forward to more success soon. I enjoy this filly as th...
