IVORY SILK found the Hever Stakes a touch slick on Saturday but ran an honest trace and maintains her form. It's a relief to see the first turf entries this week and it signals the start of our season in earnest.
Was shocked to see the incident involving Keiren Fallon at Lingfield yesterday and i have to say i am surprised this hasn't happened more often. I know this was an owner involved but one thing that has surprised me in England is the way the jockeys often have to make their way back to the weighing room through the crowd. In this day and age it's only a matter of time before an irate punter takes his frustrations out on a jockey.
