  • we hope to see some improvement with him. FINE FINALE is our final runner of the day
  • we have an early start at Lingfield this morning with YOU GOT THE LOVE. She will be assisted by blinkers for the first time today as her attitude towards racing has not yet impressed. We hope she will show a little improvement on her fourth racecourse appearance. TOGA TIGER makes his debut for the yard at Lingfield after time off with an injury. I am still learning a bit about the horse and will be happy if he returns sound and well in the morning
  • she pulled up a little scratchy after the race and I will have a discussion with the owners with regard to her future.
  • she is well and home and we are hopeful that she will run well for her syndicate. However
  • as I would hope he can race through the winter. GONE TO GROUND goes to Wolverhampton and has also been fitted with blinkers
  • although I think he will be better at 3 I hope to see more than what he has showed us on the track so far. Last night BARBIERI failed to deliver what I know she can

When it rains....... - 14th August 2010

SUTTON VENY enters new territory again today when she heads to Newmarket on what appears to be very soft ground. Once again we fly into the unknown with her and i am looking forward to seeing how he she handles it.

She is such and honest mare and it looks a nice race for her on paper and hopefully she takes to it as she does everything else.

Monday will be the next runners with DELAWARE DANCER and IVORY SILKS going to Wolverhampton. More about that later.
