PRINCE OF BURMA is the stable representative today at Lingfield as he bids for his treble in what looks an interesting race on paper. He is jumping in grade from Class 3 to Class 5 and it will be very interesting to see how he makes the step up. He did miss a touch of work due to t a minor over reach but he seems in good heart and if he gets the race run to suit he should run well.
SWEET SECRET seems ok this morning after sustaining a rather nasty injury to her hind legs yesterday at Wolverhampton but i would expect it to heal quickly and be back on track in a couple of weeks. I suppose the question is to what extent it would have effected her but it is difficult to fully assess. Often the adrenaline is flowing and horses can withstand quite high levels of pain. In a similar way to human athletes, horses are all different in the way they respond to injury in the heat of battle so i will give her the benefit of the doubt.
