Internet access has been a little spasmotic so the blog has sufferred somewhat since being here in Kentucky.
It has so far been a non productive trip as far as horse purchases go but have made an offer for a lovely horse we hope to secure today.
The sale is obviously not strong though finding the sort of horse we are looking for has not been easy.
We went to the races at Kentucky Downs yesterday and a great experience it was. It is a less formal sort of meeting and reminded me of a day at Mindarie Halidon back in Australia. David Cox, a client of ours, had a runner on the day so we tagged along for the trip, unaware it was a 3 hour drive to the track! Had a good day though the horse had no luck.
My wife Kerrie would not be happy if we lived here as i suspect my weight has ballooned with all the healthy food on offer here in the US!
