It was a little frustrating yesterday with both horses running well to finish second.
IVORY SILKS flew home again after finding trouble early in the race and we will probably have a try at 6f now. She has such a wonderful turn of foot when she lets down but she is showing a tendency to be caught flat footed when the pace quickens.
I was disappointed for young Luke after giving VAMOS a good ride and just failing to reel in the winner but he will probably get a chance to make amends in a couple of weeks.
Yesterday saw 4 of the last 5 runners filling the minor placings and we are due for a bit of luck soon. Later in the week i think we have a couple of nice chances again.
