A world of extremes at the moment as the weather here is anything but pleasant at the moment. By contrast the temperature in Adelaide, my old home, hit 43 yesterday!
I think it would be safe to say we won't be seeing anything like that at Wolvs tonight!
KING'S MIRACLE runs later tonight. She has been off the scene for a while and i would think she will need the run. She is her own worst enemy as she is hard on herself at home and i just hope she can relax tonight.
SIMLA SUNSET lines up earlier in the night and on her last run she shouldn't be far away at all. The draw is good and i would disappointed if she didn't go close though there are a couple of interesting runners in the race.
Tomorrow i will be catching up with one of my former owners from Australia, Mike Abdallah from Sydney. Mike and i have always kept in close contact and he has been such a great supporter of mine over the years. It will be good to catch up with him and new owner to the yard Steve Herbert. Steve purchased a Chineur Colt at this years sales and we are all looking forward to success with him in the future.
However the day will be busy with ACROSS THE UNIVERSE running at Lingfield where i think she can be very competitive. I hope she wins nicely as it might mean a discount for a nice meal from THAI RICE in Warminster, owned by Keith Evans. Keith is a part owner of the filly and so he should be.......he could buy half the yard with the money we've spent in his restaurant!
Later in the evening SUTTON VENY tries to go one better at Wolvs and i think she can run a great race. The syndicate are having a dinner on course their tomorrow night so it would be lovely for her to give them something to celebrate.
