Well it sounded like a full house at Kempton on Sunday as SUTTON VENY straightened for home. It was an impressive effort from a mare heading in the right direction. She looked a picture before the race and ran accordingly making it two in a row.
The Sutton Veny Syndicate really enjoy their racing and know how to offer oral support. Listen to the replay and will see what i mean.
Tomorrow morning we will take a few unraced horses for a gallop at Kempton. It's good to be able to let them have a look at the racetrack and have a trip away, something i don't think we did enough of last year. The Kempton staff are very obliging and i have to thank them for that.
Kerrie and i are heading to London tomorrow night for an Australia Day function. From there i head off to Ireland to have a look at a few of the young horses due over soon. Will keep you posted on that.
