I was happy with the run of ROCK WITH YOU on Sunday at Kempton. She will derive a great deal of benefit from the experience and will step up in trip over the next few weeks will will more to her liking.
JESSE JAMES makes hi debut for the yard tomorrow and it will be interesting to see how he fares. His work has been ok at home though he can be a bit of a worrier. We will llearn a lot from the run tomorrow as to the future targets. He is entered in the Lincoln and he would have to run very well tomorrow to warrant a start.
I returned last night from my first trip to Chantilly in France and it was a pleasure to see the place. We were entertained by Bernard de Saint Seine, a French Bloodstock agent and it was interesting to hear of his stories about Adelaide, my home town, in the 70's. It was a quick visit to have a brief look at a horse or two but i look forward to getting back there in time.
